Program Overview

Vectren’s Project TEEM (Teaching Energy Efficiency Measures) helps qualifying Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio (Vectren) customers implement energy efficiency improvements to their homes—at NO COST to the customers. The improvements are made by a team of energy efficiency professionals from the Community Action Partnership of the Greater Dayton Area (CAP). The net result of a Project TEEM energy overhaul is a home that’s more comfortable, safe and energy efficient, which should lead to lower energy consumption and lower energy bills.

The Home Inspection

Qualifying Vectren customers will receive a home energy inspection by CAP’s qualified professionals. As part of the program, the inspectors will test your home’s energy efficiency and offer solutions to reduce overall energy consumption. They will also test your combustion appliances—those with pilot lights or open flames—to be sure they’re
operating safely.

How to Apply

If you meet the income requirements, you can apply for Project TEEM by clicking on the application link on the left, printing the application, and returning it to Community Action Partnership. For more information, go to vectren.com and click on the link for Ohio.
