Welcome to Community Action Partnership serving Greene County.
Our Agency offers low-income individuals and families programming
and services that promote self-sufficiency. Below is a listing
of the services and programs we offer. *Click

Case Management
Case management and family support services are provided
to individuals and families living in targeted neighborhoods
to eliminate barriers that prevent self-sufficiency. Goal
setting and follow-up are emphasized.
Emergency Services
Individuals in need of food, clothing, housing, and help
paying water bills may receive assistance in meeting their
emergency needs.
Harding Place
Greene County CAP provides an “SRO” (Single
Room Occupancy) transitional housing facility for homeless
clientele. In addition, participants in the Harding Place
participate in a comprehensive case management project.
Home Weatherization Assistance Program
Low-income homeowners and renters may be eligible to receive:
free attic and sidewall insulation, weather stripping, safety
inspections, of furnaces and water heaters, furnace repairs,
and consumer education to reduce the cost of their energy
bills. Click

Percentage of Income Payment Plan
(PIPP)
Households with an annual income at or below 150 percent
of the poverty level may be placed on a payment plan with
their regulated utility company at the Community Action
Partnership. This plan, known as PIPP, allows income eligible
households to pay a small percentage of their monthly income
to maintain service. To schedule an appointment, please

Senior Nutrition Program
Meals are provided to residents, ages 60 and older, and
their spouses. Transportation is available to carry customers
to six designated locations throughout the county. The program
also provides Home Delivered Meals for those unable to travel
to the meal sites.
Winter Crisis Program
The Winter Crisis Program operates from November through
March each year, and can pay up to $175.00 to maintain,
restore, or initiate utility service. Assistance with bulk
fuel may also be provided. For program information, or to

Work Ready
This Work Ready program provides case management and emergency
financial assistance to income eligible persons in order
to help them in securing and maintaining employment. Removing
the employment barriers that prevent self-sufficiency is
strongly emphasized.
