SENIOR NUTRITION

Congregate Meals

The Senior Meals Program offers hot, nutritious meals that are prepared locally in our commercial kitchen to residents of Preble County, age 60 and over and their spouses regardless of age.  In Eaton, we have one nutrition site at the Preble County Council on Aging, where our friendly staff serves a well-balanced midday meal, Monday through Friday.

Our other nutrition site is The County Café.  At this facility, older adults have the unique opportunity to be served a nutritious and delightful breakfast meal two days a week, as part of the Senior Meals Program.

There is no charge for the meals.  Voluntary confidential contributions are solicited to offset the costs of this service.  A suggested donation of $2.00 is requested per meal.  However, no one is denied a meal due to their inability or unwillingness to contribute.

Come out to one of our congregate meal sites to enjoy great food, friends and friendly service.  To find out more about the Senior Meals Program or to make a reservation for a meal, please call (937) 456-2800.  Reservations must be made by noon one day in advance prior to coming to the site.  This program is funded in part by a contract by the Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2.
