Homeless Shelter

The shelter provides short-term emergency shelter and supportive services for homeless and transient people. Families may stay up to 30 days. Individuals may stay up to 14 days. Apply from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Community Action Partnership Preble County office, 304 Eaton Lewisburg Rd., Eaton, OH 45320. At other times, apply through the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Preble County Sheriff’s Office, Eaton Police Department or other local police departments.

Homeless Prevention Fund

The Preble County Emergency Shelter for the Homeless accepts in-kind donations at the Community Action Partnership office, 304 Eaton Lewisburg Rd., Eaton, OH 45320.

Emergency Food Pantry

In emergencies when no other sources are available, staple food items are provided.
