Congregate Meals

The Senior Nutrition Program offers hot, nutritious meals that are prepared locally in our commercial kitchen to residents of Greene County age 60 and over and their spouses regardless of age. A well-balanced midday meal is served by our friendly staff. Congregate meal sites are located throughout Greene County and are listed below:

  • Beavercreek Senior Center
  • Cedarville Senior Center
  • Fairborn Senior Apartments
  • Hawthorne Apartments
  • John Sales Manor
  • Wright Place Senior Apartments
  • Yellow Springs Senior Center

There is no charge for the meals. Voluntary confidential contributions are solicited to offset the costs of this service. A suggested donation of $2.00 is requested per meal. However, no one is denied a meal due to their inability or unwillingness to contribute.

Come out to one of our congregate meal sites to enjoy great food, friends and friendly service. To find out more about the Senior Nutrition Program or to make a reservation for a meal, please contact Community Action Partnership at (937) 376-7747 or (937) 427-3377. Reservations must be made by noon one day in advance of coming to the site. This program is funded in part by a contract by the Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2.

Home-Delivered Meals

If you are homebound and eligible for home-delivered meals, we will gladly bring meals to your home. Hot, nutritious lunches are prepared locally at our commercial kitchen facility and delivered right to your doorstep. Meals are packed in a convenient, microwaveable container and brought to you by our caring and professional staff. Individuals that may be eligible to receive home-delivered meals must be age 60 or older, homebound, and without assistance from family and friends.

A Senior Nutrition Program staff member must conduct an assessment in the home to determine if there is a need for this service. Older adults with disabilities, age 75 and over and with low-incomes receive priority for this service. There is no charge for the meals. Persons receiving home-delivered meals can make voluntary, confidential contributions toward the costs of the service. A suggested donation of $2.00 per meal is asked. However, no one is denied due to their inability or unwillingness to donate.

Contact the Community Action Partnership Senior Nutrition Program at (937) 376-7747 or (937) 427-3377, Monday through Friday , 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to receive additional information or to request an assessment for home-delivered meals.
