Weatherization is a residential energy efficiency program, that reduces energy use. Homeowners and renters may be eligible to receive free services on their home to make it more safe, comfortable and energy efficient. Qualifying customers may receive an energy audit from a certified inspector. Services they may receive include attic, sidewall and basement insulation, weather stripping, safety inspections of furnaces and water heaters and heating systems repairs or replacements. All participants of the program receive consumer education to help reduce the cost of their energy bills.
The agency also offers weatherization services through Project TEEM (Teaching Energy Efficiency Measures). The program is funded by Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio and provides free services to make customers’ homes more safe and energy efficient. To apply for Project TEEM weatherization services or to obtain additional information or clarification, please contact Community Action Partnership’s Weatherization Department at 1-800 617-2673.
